This message paid for by BasilMarceauxDotCom For Governor. "Because it's more important to be right-wing than it is to be sane!"

The writing style of this article is atrocious. "The content is....not always easy to nail down, and it is almost always arguable." If I wanted to know what might or might not be the case, I'd just not read anything.

"Not a few say..." How many, exactly, is not a few? 5? 1? 500000? Why beat around the bush with the unnecessary negatives?

Also, "And not just because it is nice to know that people read and care about the nation’s sacred text," ain't a complete sentence, Mr. Liptak. And it's a pretty crappy incomplete sentence, at that.

If the whole point is how the tea party has made the Constitution central to the national discussion, Liptak might also want to quote some people with more salient views than "people have opinions about this."

TFP, please read your wire stories before printing them!

Funny thing is, those who make craft beer are far more likely to take drinking it seriously than those who drink the generic stuff. The neighborhood isn't turning it's nose up at some distillery - it's turning it's nose at a high-class establishment that will improve the quality of bars around the area. Hopefully the brewery will go forward!

I can see it now: In southern Tennessee news, a state that was once a center of agriculture for the entire country now finds children experiencing their first vegetable garden - in a museum.

At least it's something.

In 360 days he's not done everything he promised to do - in 1440. I'm not an apologist or anything, but this belongs in an editorial section. The TFP editors choose the worst AP articles of any newspaper I've ever read.

The gas prices have increased 300% with an INCREDIBLY conservative president. The fact is that the president has little control over the price of gas - but even if they did, how could you ever assume that the price would go down without limiting the oil companies' profits (which is absolutely against a republican's intentions)? We as a nation do not have massive oil reserves. We have enough oil to fix the problem BRIEFLY for a few years. Or, we could work to improve existing renewable energy resources and lower the price of gas by consuming less, and save our own natural beauty, also saving our reserves for a real disaster, when we have little other option but to use our own reserves.

Don't claim that you know when you don't. A democrat will help the majority of the people - a republican will give tax breaks to everyone making 250k and up. That's their prerogatives. Look up the real Bush tax cuts, don't drool over the piddly tax rebate checks.
