The Latino immigrants in Ellijay and Gilmer County are the few people who DO work over there, and they work pretty hard. In fact, if there were no Latinos willing to work for basic wages, nothing would get done in the county. Many of the locals, save for some business owners, avoid work like it's a plague. My advice to the county: Learn to speak Spanish, if that is remotely possible, and learn from your Latino neighbors how to work and make some money. Then buy some shoes and shirts, put them on, and go get some dental work. And tell the kluckers to get lost.
