Blondine Ellis Nash, 69, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, in a local hospital.She was a member of Greater Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church where she was a choir member, served on the Mother Board and was a former member of the Willing Workers Club. She retired from Orange Grove Center.She was preceded in death by her father, Jab Ellis; mother, Evelyn Hilt Sims; husband, Charles Nash Sr.; sons, Frederick Ellis and Kerry Nash; aunt, Christine Calhoun.Survivors include one son, Adrian (Roberta) Ellis; one daughter, Tanya Nash Anderson both of Chattanooga; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Frederick Elliott of Canton, Ohio; other relatives and friends.The body will lie-in-state after noon today at Taylor Funeral Home.Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in the chapel with Pastor Alexander Bullard Sr. officiating.Burial: Highland Memorial Gardens.
