Oscar M. Ridge, 60, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, after a long battle with cancer.He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He had many friends and family. He was employed with Eslinger Contractor Co. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Ridge Sr. and Flossie Ridge and several brothers and sisters.Survivors include his wife of 32 years Margie Williford Ridge; son, Frank (Cindy) Phillips; daughter, Laura (Travis) Holder; son, Joseph Ridge; grandchildren, Seth Phillips, Heather Olsen and Ashley Olsen (Corey) Spears; great-grandson, Jaxon Spears; four sisters, Mary Hudson, Elizabeth Ridge, Brenda Thacker, and Debra Layne; two brothers, Eugene Ridge and Delmar Ridge. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, at the North Chapel with Rev.
