Inella R. Nance, 78, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, at her residence.She was a member of St. Marys Primitive Baptist Church and retired from the Chattanooga Public School System as a teachers aide.She was preceded in death by her husband, A.G. Nance; parents; and two brothers.Survivors: sons, Alvin (Jackie) Nance, of Knoxville, Russell Nance, of Chattanooga, and John Nance, of Atlanta; daughters, Carolyn (Anthony) Upshaw, Shelia (Michael) Knight and Cathey Nance Odum, all of Chattanooga; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Etta (William) Jordan, Annie Dean, both of Huntsville, Ala. and Susie Green, of Gurley, Ala.; sister-in-law, Esther Rigney, of Hunstville; god daughters, Talitha Ison and Judy Johnson; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many special friends. A special thanks to Cindy Roth and Hospice of Chattanooga.Funeral: Saturday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Raymond Moore officiating.Burial: Greenwood Cemetery.
