CHICKAMAUGA Alice Virginia "Dinky" Goldsmith, 70, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, in a local hospital.She was a longtime resident of North Georgia and a member of Bible Baptist Church in Rossville for 41 years. Mrs. Goldsmith loved the Lord, church, family and friends. She taught Sunday School for 30 years.Survivors are daughters, Tina (David) McCurry, Chickamauga, Tony (Roger) Wilson, Cheboygan, Mich., Terri Goldsmith, East Ridge; brothers, Marvin "Skeeter" (Sandy) Stephens, Panama City, Fla., Chester "Doodle" (Lynda) Stephens, Wasilla, Alaska, H.M. "Corky" (Edna) Taylor, East Brainerd; sisters, Millie "Dimples" (Sock) Payne, Ooltewah, Nellie "Punkin" (Denny) Burr Cheboygan, and Carol "Pug" Stephens, both of Cheboygan, Mich., Grace Taylor, Cleveland, Tenn.; grandchildren, Aaron (Jennifer) Goldsmith, Marie Wilson, Duane Wilson, Stephen, Wilson, Jason and Jamie McCurry; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Alex, and Landon; and numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Burman Cape and Brother Ricky Gravley officiating.Interment in Lakewood Memory Gardens.
