Frances Olivia Nicolosi Chisum, 81, of Chattanooga, ascended into Heaven on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at her home in Harrison, after a long battle with breast cancer.She was born in Beaumont, Texas on Aug. 5, 1929.She was predeceased by her husband, Russell Chisum, of Oil City, La.; son, John Robert (Johnny) Johns, of Chattanooga; parents, John Nicolosi, born in Palermo, Italy and Lillie Dooley, born in New Albany, Ind.Survivors include daughters, Sandra Sue Johns Williams, of Harrison, Mary Kathleen "Kitty" Johns, of New York; sons, James Lloyd "Jimmy" Johns and Tom Russell "Rusty" Johns, both of Texas; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, in her daughter, Sandra Williams, home in Harrison, celebrating her life.
