ROSSVILLE Nathaniel Buchanan, 83, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, in a local hospital.He was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church and retired from DuPont after 32 years of service.He was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Addie Buchanan; wife, Lurlene Buchanan; and eight siblings.Survivors: son, Russell (Amy) Harris, of Rossville; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.Funeral: Friday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor William Tramble Jr. officiating.Burial: Hamilton Memorial Gardens.The body will lie in state Friday after 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
