
Myrtle Dale Vantrease, 97, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010.She was born in New Middleton, Tenn. She lived in Lebanon, Tenn., most of her life and moved to Chattanooga from Lebanon to be close to her son.She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lebanon, and of Red Bank Baptist Church of Red Bank.She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley H. Vantrease; her father, Robert Barrett; her mother, Hattie Barrett; her two brothers, William and Sanford Barrett; and her stepson, Glen Vantrease.She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Sharon Vantrease, of Chattanooga, and Bob Vantrease, of Middleburg, Va.; grandchildren, Jana (Trey) Barclay, of Cape Coral, Fla., Jessica Vantrease, of Knoxville, Chelsee (Pat) Smith, of Little Rock, Ark., Tyson Vantrease, of Stillwater, Okla., Marilyn (Bryan) Wilder, of Tampa, Fla., Richard (Norma) Vantrease, of Lake Hamilton, Fla., John (Debbie) Vantrease, of Lakeland, Fla., Tommy Vantrease, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Mallory Barclay, Gus Smith, Boone Smith, Ryan Vantrease, Julie Vantrease, Jeannie Vantrease, Jackie Vantrease, Michael Wilder and Amanda Wilder.
