TRENTON Columbus Harlon Taylor, 80, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010.He was a loving husband and brother, a lifelong resident of Lookout Mountain, Ga., and a member of Ascalon Baptist Church. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, William "Tuck" and Rena Taylor; brothers, Luther, Amos and Edward Taylor. Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Joanna Massey Taylor; sister, Vonnie Sharpton, of Scottsboro, Ala..; brother, Spencer Taylor, of Trenton; nieces and nephews; host of friends.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. EDT Friday in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Walter Brandon officiating.Burial will follow in Hawkins Cemetery.Visitation 3-8 p.m. today and Friday 11 a.m.- 2 p.m.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The American Heart Association, or a church of your choice.Arrangements by Moore Funeral Home, Trenton.
