Vols facing tough trail to SEC title
KNOXVILLE -- Bruce Pearl thinks his Tennessee basketball team just needs to "keep knocking on the door" at the Southeastern Conference tournament. Eventually, according to Pearl, the Volunteers will break down that door.

Wiedmer: SEC tourney marks beginning of end
The beginning of the end arrives today for all Southeastern Conference basketball fans. Even if Tennessee -- which begins its SEC tourney run this afternoon at 3:15 EST against LSU -- wins every game possible the rest of the year it will play but 10 more times.

UTC gets two in NCAA wrestling field
The NCAA announced on Wednesday the 50 at-large selections for its 2010 Wrestling Championships and University of Tennessee at Chattanooga sophomore Jason McCroskey is one of the recipients. The tournament is March 18-20 in Omaha, Neb.
