Christie's Support

about Clay Bennett...

The son of a career army officer, Bennett led a nomadic life, attending ten different schools before graduating in 1980 from the University of North Alabama with degrees in Art and History. After brief stints as a staff artist at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the Fayetteville (NC) Times, he went on to serve as the editorial cartoonist for the St. Petersburg Times (1981-1994) and The Christian Science Monitor (1997-2007), before joining the staff of the ...

Chris Christie is not the GOP nominee, nor will he be in 2016. The lib media is transparent. Benghazi and all the other scandals under Obama, in addition to all his extra constitutional bullcrap, all get swept under the rug, but this blowhard needs to be taken down. Christie has no chance of being the nominee, zero.

THIRD TIME'S A CHARM

Nobody knows exactly what evidence David Wildstein might have on Christy. Nobody knows WHY the lanes were closed in the first place, but right now Wildstein just wants the Port Authority to pay his legal fees and immunity from prosecution. The PA cut him loose because he wasn't authorized to order lane closures nor was doing so part of his job description. Actually, nothing fell under his job description because Wildstein's six-figure career at the Port Authority had NO job description. He made around $150k to do nothing because Christy said, 'find this guy a job.'

BTW Christy has already lied; On January 9 he told reporters that no one on his staff knew anything about lane closures or traffic problems on the GWB and Fort Lee until AFTER THE FACT. Breath takingly false.

This all reminds me of how the Watergate scandal began. No one could figure out how a 'third rate burglary' could have anything to do with Richard Nixon. No on can now figure how a 4-day traffic jam could have anything to do with Chris Christy.

At this point, even if all charges are NOT proven Christy can wave bye-bye to the Oval Office, which leaves the GOP in a pickle. Seriously, who is going to run against Hillary? Can you imagine Mike Huckabee or Rand Paul? How about Jeb Bush? (here's the campaign slogan: VOTE BUSH BECAUSE THIRD TIME'S A CHARM!)

With Christy out of the running and no other viable candidates, expect lots more of this:

BEN - GAH -ZEE! BEN -GAH- ZEE!

Study: Liberals drink more alcohol than conservatives

"The authors of this latest study offer two theories to explain this divergence in behavior. One possibility is that people of a more liberal persuasion tend to be more open to new experiences, such as the consumption of alcohol or drugs. Another possibility is that people living in more liberal states or countries may feel more confident in government health care and social welfare to pick up the pieces if drinking leads to health or social problems."

Radel is a former radio host (like his mentor, Rush), TV reporter and newspaper owner who was swept into office with Tea Party support. Last I checked alcohol is still legal in this country.

Let's look at what Killary Klinton accomplished while she was Secretary Of State.

Liying to the family members of the four Americans murdered in Benghazi, saying the reason for the attacks was because of a You Tube Video.

Hiding while Susan Rice went on the Sunday morning talk shows and continued to spread the You Tube Video Lie. Why wasn't Killary on those shows, it was her job not Susan Rice's job. Even Obama said Susan Rice had nothing to do with Benghazi.

Our relationship with Russia has vastly improved since Killary hit the reset button.

She did such a great job with Iran, Syria, North Korea, Iraq and Afghanistan and I bet we can all feel the love they have for use because of Killary.

The Arab Spring was such a great success story along with the the Middle East peace negotiations.

She did a great job of pissing off our allies.

One are where she did excel was in parting at the clubs and getting drunk. Not to worry BJ (Billy Jefferson) Clinton has promised to have Killary sober for the 2016 elections.

Yep Killary meets all of the qualifications to be our next President.

A much sought after fundraiser (even since Bridgegate became public). This Christie fellow is gonna be skewered by his own people, he'll be slow roasted on the national stage by the words of his own appointees. It's gonna be ugly and it's gonna take a long time. From Investors.com:

Hillary Clinton regrets Americans died ... What difference at this point do the regrets of former Secretary of State Clinton make. Not much, particularly to Charles Woods and Patricia Smith, parents of Ty Woods and Sean Smith.

Clinton expressed no regrets for repeating the video lie to Woods in front of his son's casket as it arrived at Dover Air Force Base.

"Oh, sure," Clinton replied when asked if there were any "do-overs" she'd undertake if given the chance. "I mean, you know, you make these choices based on imperfect information. And you make them to, as we say, the best of your ability. But that doesn't mean that there's not going to be unforeseen consequences, unpredictable twists and turns."

(Employing the Iraq War defense?!? ... anyone?)

Clinton's "imperfection information" comment is another Benghazi lie and her "unforeseen consequences" were perfectly foreseeable. She did nothing before the attack because it would destroy the administration narrative about final victory in the War on Terror, then lied about the video afterward for the same reason.

Newly declassified transcripts show top defense officials who briefed Obama on the day of the Benghazi raid describing it as a terrorist attack and telling the president so. Clinton had to know that as well, yet she's been complicit in a lie agreed upon.

The Senate Intelligence Committee said Benghazi was preventable. So is her presidency.

By Robert Gehl

Hillary Clinton might have a pretty hefty scandal brewing. It turns when she was an attorney working on the Watergate investigation, she was fired by her supervisor for “lying, unethical behavior.”

Jerry Zeifman, who said he is a lifelong Democrat, was a supervisor for 27-year-old Hillary Rodham on the committee. When the investigation was complete, Zeifman said he fired Hillary and refused to give her a recommendation.

“Because she was a liar,” Zeifman said. “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.

Hillary then proceeded to write a legal brief arguing there was no precedent for the right to representation by counsel during an impeachment proceeding – as if the Douglas case had never occurred.

The brief was so fraudulent and ridiculous, Zeifman believes Hillary would have been disbarred if she had submitted it to a judge.

Zeifman says that if Hillary, Marshall, Nussbaum and Doar had succeeded, members of the House Judiciary Committee would have also been denied the right to cross-examine witnesses, and denied the opportunity to even participate in the drafting of articles of impeachment against Nixon.

Of course, Nixon’s resignation rendered the entire issue moot, ending Hillary’s career on the Judiciary Committee staff in a most undistinguished manner.

Zeifman says he was urged by top committee members to keep a diary of everything that was happening. He did so, and still has the diary if anyone wants to check the veracity of his story. Certainly, he could not have known in 1974 that diary entries about a young lawyer named Hillary Rodham would be of interest to anyone 34 years later.

Do you think we will ever see that? Do you think there can be too many regulations? Do you think it is necessary to have states and local governments duplicate what the federal government does? Who pays the taxes paid by a business? Do you think the politicians desire to show favor, pick favorites and generally manipulate to gain support or punish is why they the 35% published tax rate? Why is a business tax necessary since any regulatory cost and taxes they may have are included in the cost of their goods or services?

The government wants to tell businesses how they must operate instead of fulfilling the governments role of assuring fair competition among them.

Why is this thing with Christie getting more coverage than Benghazi?

By Camille Paglia:

As a registered Democrat, I am praying for a credible presidential candidate to emerge from the younger tier of politicians in their late 40s. A governor with executive experience would be ideal. It’s time to put my baby-boom generation out to pasture! We’ve had our day and managed to muck up a hell of a lot.

It remains baffling how anyone would think that Hillary Clinton (born the same year as me) is our party’s best chance. She has more sooty baggage than a 90-car freight train. And what exactly has she ever accomplished — beyond bullishly covering for her philandering husband? She’s certainly busy, busy and ever on the move — with the tunnel-vision workaholism of someone trying to blot out uncomfortable private thoughts.

I for one think it was a very big deal that our ambassador was murdered in Benghazi. In saying “I take responsibility” for it as secretary of state, Hillary should have resigned immediately. The weak response by the Obama administration to that tragedy has given a huge opening to Republicans in the next presidential election. The impression has been amply given that Benghazi was treated as a public relations matter to massage rather than as the major and outrageous attack on the U.S. that it was.

Throughout history, ambassadors have always been symbolic incarnations of the sovereignty of their nations and the dignity of their leaders. It’s even a key motif in “King Lear.” As far as I’m concerned, Hillary disqualified herself for the presidency in that fist-pounding moment at a congressional hearing when she said, “What difference does it make what we knew and when we knew it, Senator?” Democrats have got to shake off the Clinton albatross and find new blood.

The escalating instability not just in Egypt but throughout the Mideast is very ominous. There is a clash of cultures brewing in the world that may take a century or more to resolve — and there is no guarantee that the secular West will win.

Yeah...uh huh...sure.

Sir, with what little respect you deserve after offering all this, ObamaCare will work itself out, the NSA is going to do what it wants to do, as it has for decades, police attacking citizens is hardly the fault of our President, and "you name it" is what happens to be rolling around in your head at any given moment.

Fairmon, we could argue all day long about what regulations are too cumbersome or overstepping and what regulations are necessary and beneficial. As far as every business owner is concerned, all regulations are cumbersome. And you libertarians and most righties today are making it seem that practically ALL regulations are indeed bad, therefore the best solution, as far as you're concerned, is to have little or no regulation and little or no taxation so that the business owners can be free to make as much money as possible, and the consumers/public/employees be damned. But we have already tried little or no regulation and little or no taxation (remember the robber barons and the Gilded Age?) and it does not work. Capitalism has greed built into it and if left unregulated it always devolves to greed and corruption, benefiting the few at the expense of the many.

I am sure that there is a lot of bureaucratic BS and red tape and over-reaching regulation that entrepreneurs and business owners have to contend with, but it would be a nightmare to oversimplify and cut back to little or no regulation. "Individual freedom" involves a lot more than just having the ability and freedom to make unlimited amounts of money, free of government regulation. And states' rights, the default position of most libertarians, is no answer. Just because state governments are smaller does not necessarily make them any wiser or less corruptible.

As we all should know, management and business experience is no longer a qualifier to become President.

Hillary is a lifelong politician, albeit while working in the background. She knows how to win. She knows how to negotiate, and she is or was a practicing Attorney, which describes most politicians these days.

Hillary knows how to win, and nothing now stands in her way to become the first female President of the United States, much to the disappointment of all you Republican cheerleaders.

Will she be a great President? That remains to be seen, but she will be elected come November 1, 2016, mark my word.

Jt, I readily admit that I am one of the worst about name calling on this forum, but at least when I do it I provide a reasoned explanation of why I am doing it. You, on the other hand, have just babbled a string of unoriginal names based on pure childish knee-jerk emotion. "I bet you don't smell too good as well." You really said that? That's the best you could come up with?

PT, maybe you've never called me or any other liberal a commie but you have made it clear that you think liberalism is a dirty word and that liberals are somehow unbalanced, to put it mildly. You have used every pejorative imaginable to describe us libs. But any true "moderate," as you claim to be, would take and defend a liberal position at least occasionally. However, you ALWAYS take the right to far-right position in every argument. Admit that you are a rightie and, while we would still disagree, at least I would respect you for standing by your principles instead of just being a fence-sitting cheerleader for the right.

I suffer no delusions that coexisting with you dimwitted righties who don't even know the difference between Communism and a socialist-democratic form of government. Anybody who keeps referring to liberals as "commies" or "mentally ill" or "evil" just because we happen to believe in a regulated free market is not someone that I care to coexist with. As far as I'm concerned, let the revolution begin, or let's just split the country down the middle and form two separate nations. The right and the left are never going to see eye to eye.

You Commie Fleabaggers aren’t going anywhere ... You’re going to stay right here and continue to be wage slaves in a low paying jobs. We’re going to strip you of any possible wealth that you could possibly accumulate. That way you can pay back the enormous debt that you have piled up from the “Great Society” and the “War on Poverty.”

Of course you are welcome to fire the first shot but remember your side is greatly out gunned ...LMFAO !!

I need some fresh air away from this cesspool of right-wing lunacy. BTW...just how fat is that ass of yours anyway? You're always laughing it off but you still have it there to laugh off over and over again. There is something unstable about people who are always laughing their asses off.

Unfortunately that is true and would be true regardless of which party being referred to, only the names and party affiliation would be changed.

The only person that could stop or beat Hilary would be Hilary. She is very capable of doing that, we will see when we officially get to the 2016 race. This may be the earliest in history when people think a POTUS campaign is active and underway.

Why not reduce the BS and red tape which would help American business be more competitive. Also, the question is who pays the taxes imposed on any business. Would good competition with no illegal pricing or collusion provide less costly product or services to consumers? Would that environment not be a good incentive for producing products in America? The fair tax proposals SB-13 and HR-25 which limits taxes to money spent instead of money earned and would increase the taxes more on the wealthy and eliminates any loop holes or exceptions. It would also mean regardless of the source of the money spent taxes would be paid. for Producing in America?
