Big Five: Top barbecue cities in the U.S.

The cities with the biggest share of barbecue restaurants are all in the South.

1. Atlanta, 3.7 restaurants per 10,000 residents

2. Birmingham, Ala., 2.7 restaurants per 10,000 residents

3. Orlando, 2.4 restaurants per 10,000 residents

4. Memphis, 2.3 restaurants per 10,000 residents

5. Tampa, 2.0 restaurants per 10,000 residents
