Chattanooga Police have arrested 36-year-old Corey France on two counts of aggravated assault and felony unlawful possession of a firearm in connection with two shootings earlier today, a news release stated.
Police also identified the shooting victims as 47 year-old Jerry Jones and 33 year-old Karona Cunningham.
Officers had responded to the shooting at about 6:15 a.m. at 2217 East 28th St., where they found Jones and Cunningham suffering from nonlife-threatening gunshot wounds.
Both victims were taken to a hospital for treatment and are in stable condition, according to Chattanooga Police Department Spokesman Nathan Hartwig.
