Water rescue underway in Marion County

MARION COUNTY, TN. -- Rescue crews in Marion County are searching the waters of the Tennessee River for a construction worker this afternoon.

Haletown Fire Chief Mikey Tudors tells Channel 3 an unidentified worker fell 4 feet into the water while working near a barge at the Haletown Bridge.

Chief Tudors says the man came up once, gasping for air, but went back under and hasn't been seen since.
