A third man was arrested Friday in the 2010 slaying of Chattanoogan Chance LeCroy, according to a news release.
Patrick Shane Carmody, 43, was arrested in Davidson County on a warrant from Chattanooga and is charged with felony murder and especially aggravated robbery, the release stated.
The two men already in custody are Billy Bob Partin, 39, who is charged with felony murder and especially aggravated robbery, and Ronald Lee Pittman, 42, who faces charges of facilitation of felony murder and facilitation of especially aggravated robbery. They were arrested June 15.
LeCroy was killed in his home at 1211 Johnston Terrace on Sept. 9, 2010. Pittman told investigators that he and Partin wanted to rob LeCroy's home, where they believed there were drugs and flat-screen TVs, but the robbery went wrong.
LeCroy's roommate, Tucker King, told police he was sleeping on a couch when he was awakened by the sound of a gunshot. He discovered his roommate's body.
