PIKEVILLE, TN -- A 20 foot wide sinkhole has opened up in a field right near Highway 127, and local residents say that it is still growing.

The photos, taken by Jessica Brown, show the current sinkhole including the visible water line that was installed less than a month ago.

The sinkhole measures 20 feet across, 20 feet deep to the waterline, and then 26 feet of water with very strong currents.
