Longley joins Cornerstone
Cornerstone Community Bank has appointed Keith Longley as a vice president and commercial relationship manager.
A 25-year banking veteran, Longley previously worked for both regional and community banks, and was most recently employed by Gateway Bank in Ringgold, Ga., for the past 12 years.
A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, he graduated magna cum laude from Baylor School in 1983 and from UTC with a bachelor's degree in finance in 1987. He also earned an MBA from UTC in 1999. Longley is a graduate of the both the Tennessee School of Banking and the Graduate School of Banking at LSU.
North joins Betts Engineering
D. Michael North has joined Betts Engineering Associates as survey manager.
He is licensed to practice land surveying in Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama. He has been in the surveying profession since 1985 and has been practicing as a licensed professional since 2003.
"I consider it an honor to be associated with Chattanooga's longest established engineering firm," he said.
R&R Outdoor picks Shuptrine
R & R Outdoor has named office administrator Robin Shuptrine as director of leasing and administration.
"Robin has proven to be an invaluable asset and we are truly blessed to have someone with her background stepping in to assume this new role," said Roy Davis, general manager of R & R.
Shuptrine has been in the outdoor advertising business for over 23 years. She began her career with POA Acquisition Corp. in Orlando.
R & R oversees billboards for Rock City and Ruby Falls, as well as the Rock City barns. Along with Davis and Shuptrine, the staff at R & R includes April Bell, director of sales, and Tabatha French, account executive. The sign crew is led by Andy Presnell and David McNabb.
Jordan chairing accounting forum
Decosimo, a top 100 accounting and business advisory firm, is providing support as the lead sponsor for the Private Investment Fund Accounting & Auditing Forum hosted by the Financial Research Associates on July 19-20 at New York City's Princeton Club.
Decosimo principal Karl J. Jordan will chair the private investment- focused forum.
The conference will explore topics such as a Financial Accounting Standards Board update focusing on new and proposed accounting rules.
Walker Chamber to hear Anderson
Georgia Bureau of Investigation Special Agent Renea Anderson, assigned to the newly formed Human Trafficking Unit specializing in commercial sexual exploitation of children investigations, will speak at the Walker County, Ga., Chamber of Commerce's membership luncheon Tuesday, Aug. 28, at the Walker County Civic Center.
She will talk on current statistics, how to avoid becoming a victim, and how cases work. The mission of the GBI unit is to attempt to rescue and recover juvenile victims that are forced or lured into the commercial sexual exploitation of children.
Hutton adds new managers
The Chattanooga-based Hutton Co. has added Gary Market, Adam Wenz and Evan Conder to its real estate team.
Market will work in Scottsdale, Ariz., as a site acquisitions partner.
Wenz also joins Hutton as a site acquisitions partner. He will be working in the Atlanta area.
Conder is an assistant real estate manager, working in the Louisville, Ky., office.
Hutton is a national, full service, development, real estate and construction company.
PPS announces Bourg hiring
Nadine Bourg has joined PPS Orthotic & Prosthetic Services as an American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics, and Pedorthics-certified orthotist.
She is also licensed by the state of Tennessee, and she is recognized for achievements in the areas of pediatrics, geriatrics, club foot orthoses and spinal/scoliosis orthoses. She has been serving patients since 1999.
Vision Hospitality adds managers
New corporate and property leadership personnel have become part of Chattanooga-based Vision Hospitality Group.
Named are Byrnes James, Vision director of finance and accounting; Ed Mamrila, general manager of the Comfort Inn & Suites in Schererville, Ind.; and Don Rogers, general manager of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Tullahoma, Tenn.
James has more than 20 years of auditing and forensic advisory credentials during which more than five were focused on hospitality operations.
Mamrila brings a diverse background in deep-rooted hospitality experience since the late-1980s.
Rogers has more than 20 years experience with such brands as Hampton Inn, Drury Inn, Holiday Inn Express, DoubleTree and LaQuinta.
Whitener picked as board trustee
Bridge Consulting International Chief Executive Jenny Whitener was recently elected to the board of trustees of Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures, and Commerce in the United States.
Founded in the United Kingdom in 1754, the RSA is an enlightenment organization committed to finding innovative, practical solutions to today's social challenges.

Meyer joins Guardian Wealth
Christa J. Meyer has joined the firm of Guardian Wealth Management, Inc., a fee-based advisory and coaching firm, as the administrative coordinator.
She has 15 years experience in data analysis and report development. She is a 1997 graduate of State University of West Georgia with a degree in business management.
Don Vanlandingham, Guardian Wealth Management's principal advisor, said the company looks for "specialized and credentialed professionals who are motivated to see our clients achieve their goals."
Dunlap Industries hires Graham
Ashby Graham, a former Girls Preparatory School and McCallie School rowing coach, has been hired by Dunlap Industries to expand sales in the sporting goods, medical and pet care industries.
He has demonstrated success in team building, managing over $500,000 of team resources and developing several championship rowing teams.
Graham holds a bachelor's degree in history from UTC.
