The long-strong Chattanooga State softball program completed probably the best four-day run in its history Monday with wins of 4-0 and 16-9 over North Idaho, giving the 11th-ranked Lady Tigers a 10-0 sweep of its season-opening visit to Henderson, Nev. Two of their victories were by 7-2 scores against the Nos. 1 and 9 teams in the country, and only a 4-2 win in Friday's second game was by less than a four-run margin. LSU signee Ashley Czechner pitched a no-hitter with 10 strikeouts and one walk in Monday's first game, when Kortney Koroll was 2-for-2 with a home run, Courtney DeLay also was 2-for-2 and Marina Wilkerson was 2-for-4. Chattanooga State jumped to a 12-0 lead in the second game, when it totaled 19 hits. Beth Breeden was 4-for-5 with a first-inning grand slam, Koroll homered again, Andrea Dalton was 3-for-5 with a homer and six RBIs, MeQuilla Franklin was 4-for-5 with four RBIs and Lacye Walker was 3-for-6 with a homer.
