Johnny Hellweg, Daniel Meadows and former Ringgold High School standout Kyle Heckathorn combined to one-hit Chattanooga as Huntsville beat the Lookouts 5-1 on Wednesday to square the series at two games apiece.
The Lookouts went up 1-0 in the first inning when Nick Buss, who reached on a leadoff walk, stole third and then came home on a throwing error by Stars catcher Anderson De La Rosa.
Chattanooga trailed 2-1 in the fifth inning when Griff Erickson got its only hit with a two-out single to left, but Huntsville built its lead to 4-1 later in the fifth on RBI doubles by Scooter Gennett and Hunter Morris.
Game five of a five-game series in Huntsville is tonight at 7:43 EDT.
The Lookouts will make a game-day decision, while the Stars are scheduled to start Jimmy Nelson (1-1, 5.87).
