We have spent the last few months researching and looking at how we can digitally present the news of the day in a better format, with less clutter and distraction, yet access to the rich resources of news, research and insight to what the community is talking about. We also wanted a website that reflected our digital direction and how quickly we want to and need to respond to the happenings of our community.

- New layout to the home page allowing a cleaner and a more organized view of the news from the day
- Better integration of social networking tools, such as Facebook and Twitter
- Better profile of our reporters, allowing you to follow them

- Top Headlines will continue to update throughout the day, showing the most trafficked, or commented articles of the day
- Related stories on each article based on the keywords in the story
- Section highlights – when you are looking a Business story, links within the story show the top other Business stories

myTFP button at the top right of the screen, just below the main navigation bar.
- Better user profiles for you to comment, allowing you to have a "true" profile on our site, avatar, follow other reporters, other people that comment on the site, save favorite articles, etc., however, giving you the controls to decide what you will share with the community. We allow you to use your Google (GMail), Twitter, or Facebook account to login (one less password to remember), if you don't already have an account on our site. This is part of the “MyTFP” implementation.

I'm excited about the new functionality! I hope we get the ability to reply directly to individual comments. It is easy for responses to get lost since they are only displayed chronologically. It would also be nice to be notified when someone responds to one of my posts. It's a bit tedious to search through all comments to see if someone has responded, especially on more popular stories.
OK...it's the annual revamping of the TFP website. Can't wait to see how you overhaul it next year.
Poorly organized. How do you get to "Obituaries" and "Sudoku". I would think they should appear under the "Life" tab but can't find them.

The Obituaries at near the bottom of the home screen on the right-hand side - it's a picture of a dove in flight. I don't like the new obit format - instead of seeing their photo you get a link. Think it is rather rude to refer to their photo as 'obitmugshot.' Really 'mugshot' - could you have referred to the picture simply as 'obitphoto.' A mug shot is usually what we refer to when it a picture of someone who has been arrested and a criminal.
I hate it where is the recipes and coupons sections?
I'm glad to see the site keep improving. Any kinks, work 'em out, of course. But the Chattanooga area needs a newspaper that keeps innovating, in print and online.
I like it- once I found the obituaries it wasn't that hard to navigate. Looks good
It does seems to have better type clarity, but like some others have said, I miss the response to comments; it was feedback as to the quality of our posts.
Seems a bit too busy...the scrolling ticker is annoying.
Thanks god getting rid of the old layout with all the different blocks and modules. Very nice update. Dont listen to geriatrics who can't stand change.
I like it. Much cleaner. It seemed slower the first day, but that seems to have gotten better.
