KNOXVILLE — A man was jailed today on allegations he attacked his girlfriend in a drunken rage with a claw hammer, threw her son when he tried to help his mother and assaulted two officers responding to the call.
Kevin Deandre Coker, 25, was held on charges of aggravated assault and two counts of assaulting officers, according to Knoxville Police Department spokesman Darrell DeBusk. Coker's bond was set at $63,000.
The unidentified woman and the boy were taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center for treatment. Their injuries are not thought to be life threatening, according to police.

this guy need to fall down a few flights of stairs on the way to jail.
There are always areas in a jail where the cameras can not see. Time for a corrections officer to spread the word what the suspect did. There are such things as "common, decent criminals" or "cdc's". Maybe they commited a crime, but still have families and children and are at heart, decent people. A couple of loggers in jail for drunkenness would gladly show this suspect their displeasure for his errant ways.
