Criminal attack on mosque

All Americans who believe in our country’s ideals, our Constitution and our laws should be outraged by what appears to have been a hate-motivated criminal attack on a proposed Islamic mosque site last Saturday in Murfreesboro, Tenn., about 30 miles south of Nashville.

All persons and all property should be protected in this country from any kind of criminal violence.

Our country suffered a terrible loss in the 9/11 attacks on New York City and Washington, D.C., and some Muslim extremists have engaged in terrible warfare against Americans. But there is no justification whatsoever for any kind of attacks on any mosque or on innocent Muslims in the United States.

We believe in religious freedom and the sanctity of persons and property for all in this great country — including those with whom we may disagree. So in protecting our freedom, and morality, all of us should condemn criminal violence of any kind against anyone in America — or against any idea with which we may disagree.

In this disgusting case in Tennessee, identifying and bringing to justice the violator or violators may be difficult. But all true Americans should join in condemning the attack on the mosque site in Murfreesboro as an attack against us all.

Hate-motivated actions sadly invoke other ones. That is unexcusable. Sadly many feel the proposed mosque in Manhattan is a rub in the face of a nation following atrocious hate-motivated acts on 911. Extremist Muslims, not law abiding Americans, are making life more difficult here for socalled moderate Muslims. Until the killing and injuring of innocent people all over the world ceases, there will be conflict and will sadly be ridiculous responses such as we have seen in Mufreesborough. I wish that was not the case but believe it is.

Sadly, bigoted hateful rabble rousers have been at work over this mosque. Now that their actions have come home to roost, they say, "Oh no I didn't mean that"

"Thank you sirs, for speaking out and condemning this type of behavior. We should be America,United,a nation of laws,we are not a country of hate and mob rule": (sic) acedarig

Maybe you'll remember your own words and those of the other Leftists who commit violence around the nation on a daily basis, in order to further their agendas. Like the New Black Panthers, ALF and assorted Hispanic Gangs, MS13 and the Marxist groups. Also, I'm assuming you bubs spoke out against the horrific burning of many churches, both Black's and White's, in recent years? mmm, thought not.

from the TFP article, dated 9-1-2010: "Asked by reporters about the suspected arson case, which is attracting national attention..."

"According to authorities, a fire broke out early Saturday morning at the planned Islamic Center of Murfreesboro. It destroyed a heavy hauler...Three other pieces of equipment were damaged".

“The investigation continues into a suspected arson fire,” Kehn said.."

"The American Civil Liberties Union of Tennessee condemned the fire, saying the group supports the right of Muslims across the state to construct places of worship and practice their religion.."

"...the governor urged Tennessee politicians to “please remember who we are as a country and, you know, have some tolerance. Perhaps if you’re a Republican and want to gig a Democrat or a Democrat and want to gig a Republican then find some places to do it that don’t drive these kinds of passions and hatreds in a way that I think is very un-American.”

"Haslam spokesman David Smith said via e-mail that “the mayor’s faith is very important to him, and he respects the right of others to practice their faith, so long as they are respectful of the communities in which they live and the laws of the land.”

September 1, 2010 at 2:17 p.m.

"Democratic nominee Mike McWherter, meanwhile, said in an e-mailed statement that “regardless of political or religious beliefs this hateful act of intolerance is not acceptable in Murfreesboro or anywhere else in the country. Furthermore, those individuals responsible for this cowardly act should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

yes, yes and yes boys...and let's remember with all these wonderful words spoken above, two important things:

1) Are the rights, beliefs and feelings of 3/4 of the American people, including many who lost loved ones on 9-11, being "respected" By the Islamic mullah and his Saudi money-bag Funders building this 15 story statement of their Ideology/religion? Are the terrorists who kill and maim on a daily basis in the name of allah, "prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law" in countries like Yemen, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon-all who send their killers to America to do the dirty deed?

2) Can such 'judging' on the part of the Left democrats, the MSM, the blogosphere and the Left wing of the TFP, before the authorities have weighed in on their final pronouncement of "arson", be right?

Now, now boys and girls, you all know how you positively Hate "judgers", especially those Christians. Wouldn't you rather wait and see if the authorities actually have someone to charge before you have all those terrible "mosque-haters" tried, hanged and quartered in Murfreesboro?

Bubs, I have to hand it to you all. Never have I witnessed such Wonderful, Positive support given to any other 'victims' in America, like you have given the poor, innocent Islamicists. Good for you, you all now have your one-way ticket to heaven...or wherever, I do so hope you enjoy the ride.

gee whiz, more in-depth facts in answer to my posts exposing the reality of the situation: did you bubs realize that your insults are mere proven projections of what exists in your own 'souls'? That's from a 'progressive' shrink, btw. For the record, you both are just two of the most vile Haters on this site. Tsk.

Maybe a remedy is called for. More facts:

'The Media Is Continually Disappointed by The Absence of Conservative Violence'

Date: 9/2/2010 Elijah Friedeman

"We hear a lot these days about the plight of unemployed Americans. How they can't find work and are having trouble paying the bills. But there's an untold story that needs to be shared: The plight of the liberal mainstream media. No, I'm not talking about plummeting viewership or the dwindling number of subscriptions. I'm talking about the problem that liberal talking heads have had recently with finding an angry, violent conservative troublemaker to use to bash the Tea party and conservatism at large. What do I mean? Well let me explain.

First we were confronted with the death of the census worker in Kentucky. The census worker had the word "fed" scrawled across his chest, resulting in exultation from the liberal media that they finally had an example of right-wing violence. One liberal rag even breathlessly proclaimed that the "Dead census worker highlights right-wing paranoia." MSNBC quoted a conveniently anonymous law enforcement officer wondering if the death might have something to do with "anti-government sentiments."

Then, without much fanfare from the same outlets that decried the murder weeks earlier, investigators announced that the murder by anti-government, right-wing extremists was actually a suicide. Woops. Such a simple mistake, though, any fact-checking news outlet could have jumped to conclusions in that case, right?

Recently, amid warnings from the media of Islamophobia and anti-Muslim violence, a Muslim cab driver was attacked by a young, white male. At last, the media had a prime example of conservative hatred and violence! Overjoyed, liberal outlets everywhere proudly denounced the violence brought on by the opposition to the Ground Zero mosque.

And then the news slowly began trickling out. The attacker wasn't a crazed opponent of the mosque, turns out he actually worked for Intersections International, a Left-wing organization which supports the Ground Zero mosque. Strike two, for the media.

September 3, 2010 at 3:24 p.m.

The tragic events of yesterday's hostage crisis at the Discovery channel should finally dispel the myth of the violent, politically-motivated conservative, but I wouldn't count on it. The gunman, James Lee, wasn't a conservative, much to the chagrin of the news oulets. In fact, he seems to be an angry politically-motivated inspired by - wait for it - Al Gore.

Lee said that he experienced "an awakening" after watching Al Gore's eco-documentary "An Inconvenient Truth." His bizarre demands during the hostage crisis included getting those "destructive, filthy, pollutive creatures," otherwise known as humans, to stop reproducing.

Lee's tirade also touched on nuclear weapons, global warming, and pollution from cars. He also called for the media to talk more about evolution and Darwin and bashed the "religious-cultural roots" of civilization.

Surely, surely the Left wouldn't try to brand this guy as a conservative. But wait, the Left's spin machine whipped into full gear, and some liberal publications attempted to tie the gunman to anti-illegal immigration groups. But by and large the mainstream media didn't even try to pin this on conservatives. It's almost as if they've given up on the cause of proving the violent teapartier narrative.

Every single time, just when the media had a chance to prove that conservatives caused political violence, that chance has been brutally dashed to pieces on the cold, hard rocks of reality. The media really has it tough. You may not realize this, but it's hard work, keeping up the narrative that the teapartiers are a violent bunch when there's no proof to back it up.

This is why the mainstream media is in such dire straits. They just can't seem to catch a break by finding a violent, politically-motivated conservative. It's hard, sometimes, creating false narratives, which is why the mainstream media's story needs to be told. They put so much effort into creating the perfect framework for their thesis that conservatives are a violent bunch, and yet no conservative violently fits into that storyline. All that hard work just gone to waste".
