Q-and-A for basketball Lady Mocs

Audio clip

Shanara Hollinquest

The Lady Mocs will find out where they're headed in the NCAA tournament during Monday's selection show on ESPN. Here are some of their thoughts on where they'd like to go and whom they'd like to play (or avoid) in the first round:

"I kind of want to go somewhere I've never been before. I've been to (Knoxville) Tennessee a million times, and Kentucky. I think it'd be neat to go to California. I think it'd be neat just to go out there. The plane ride might be long, but I think it'd be fun to go." -- Michelle Davis

Who would you like to play?

"I don't really have any preferences. I just want to play." -- Michelle Davis

How would you feel about playing UConn, which has won 72 straight games?

"Not in the first game. Let's try to get past that first round and then we'll see where we go from there." -- Shanara Hollinquest
