Police seek man on felony charges

Chattanooga police are asking for help to locate a man who is wanted for several felonies that stem from an extensive narcotics investigation.

The Chattanooga Police Department Special Investigations Division is trying to find Broderick Gaither Autry, aka “Tank.” Mr. Autry has been indicted for conspiracy to sell and deliver cocaine and possession of a firearm while in commission of a felony, according to a news release. He also is wanted for failure to appear on charges of unlawful carrying or possessing a weapon, possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana for resale and drug paraphernalia, police said.

Mr. Autry, 35, is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 250 pounds, a news release stated. He has brown eyes, black hair and medium to dark skin, police said. Mr. Autry’s last known address is 2512 Ocoee St. in Chattanooga, but investigators said he may have fled to Texas when his associates were arrested.

Anyone with information about Mr. Autry’s whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 698-3333. Tipsters could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
