Staff Photo by John Rawlston/Chattanooga Times Free Press - Concrete sidewalks and landscaping beautify the entrance of a home in the Artisan subdivision, located along Iris Road in East Brainerd.

* Location: The small cul-de-sac neighborhood is located off Graysville Road, a few minutes from the Gunbarrel Road/Hamilton Place shopping district. A seven-minute drive from I-75, the subdivision is located within the city limits of Chattanooga, in the East Hamilton High and Middle School district and the East Brainerd Elementary district. With ample shopping opportunities near the neighborhood and convenient access to the interstate, it offers convenience wrapped in a stylish package.

* Status: Thirteen total homes are planned, seven have been built and six are occupied.

* Price: Three-bedroom, 21⁄2 bath houses are priced in the $243,000 to $275,000 range, and range from 2,000 to 2,550 square feet of space.

* Features: Built in the Euro-craftsman style, homes make extensive use of Hardie siding and masonry on the exterior, with enhanced privacy fences and extensive landscaping. Each house has a different exterior to give an old neighborhood feel but with new neighborhood conveniences. Crown molding, granite and marble surfaces finish off an interior with high ceilings and expansive rooms. Small touches give these homes a special appeal.

* Amenities: Sprinkler systems are included in the front, rear and side yards of each house, upgraded appliances are included and lit mailboxes are provided. All cabinets are custom made for each house, and homes include a finished bonus room.
