SEN. CORKER voted for the Wall Street bailout, yet is now sponsoring a bill to control government spending.

MR. PRESIDENT, Inheriting an insanely irresponsible amount of debt does not justify doubling such fiscal recklessness. Continuing this way is guaranteed to bankrupt our nation!

WE SHOULD remember the wise counsel of Winston Churchill: “Socialism is the philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy.”

SO YOU DON’T like government regulations. Would you rather have toxic eggs, more oil spills, more corporate thievery, no health care? You have choices, folks!

PAKISTAN USED American money to fund the Taliban. If Pakistanis are drowning, I will leave it to the Taliban to save them.

WHY DON’T we all sue Red Bank for $1.5 million? You have to get into the line of people suing Red Bank!

CAN THE Times Free Press cover TVA nuclear without quoting Stephen Smith? Is he the only TVA critic in the Tennessee Valley?

CHIVALRY ISN’T dead, but if you’re a cell-phone user while driving, I will not yield right of way to you! You simply get behind me!

MOST REPUBLICANS are suffering from elephantiasis: A severe swelling of organs, often including the brain; which explains their attempts to destroy our democracy.

KEEP HEARING the pundits say America’s driving off a dangerous cliff. Wouldn’t any cliff be dangerous if you drove off it?

IF I EVER got a “thank you” wave in traffic, well, I think I’d just fall over dead.
