Lasorda visits AT&T Field

Former Los Angeles Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda visited AT&T Field today for the first time since the Chattanooga Lookouts became the organization’s Double-A affiliate.

Lasorda is in his 60th season with the organization and the fifth as a special advisor to Dodgers owner and chairman Frank McCourt.

“I wish I was only six years in, but that’s the way it is,” Lasorda said minutes before Wednesday’s first pitch. “I consider myself very, very fortunate to be able to be with an organization for 60 years. I’ve been married for 59 years, so I’ve been blessed in two ways.”
