Residents can comment Wednesday and Thursday on potential development of the 15-acre site occupied by Signal Mountain Middle School, according to a Town of Signal Mountain news release.

The Hamilton County Board of Education is placing the school campus on Ault Road up for sale and will issue a formal proposal in June.

Regional Planning Agency personnel will be at the Signal Mountain Town Hall from 2-7 p.m. for two days to provide information about the land and its potential use.

Town officials say the meetings offer an opportunity for the public to participate in planning for the future of their community.
