“Wild Bill” e-mailed me recently asking about good places for breakfast. Unfortunately, he said, several of his tried-and-true early morning eateries have failed to impress him recently. So, where should he go? I told him about Country Diner over in Lookout Valley on Brown’s Ferry Road next to Food Lion. But, I also mentioned I’d never had breakfast there and couldn’t testify to the quality of its eggs, omelets, pancakes, waffles and other breakfast items. But the menu sure does make my mouth water. Back Inn Cafe is another good place, but perhaps not as casual as one may want.
