East Ridge police arrest woman in connection with stabbing

East Ridge police Wednesday arrested a 21-year-old female in connection with a Tuesday morning stabbing in the 6500 block of McCall Road.

Amy Ensley was taken to the Hamilton County Jail and booked on a charge of aggravated domestic assault. She is being held on $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in East Ridge Municipal Court at 5 p.m. Tuesday, said East Ridge spokesman Erik Hopkins.

Ms. Ensley was arrested in connection with the Tuesday stabbing of a 23-year-old man, who sustained a cut to his right forearm and taken to Parkridge East for non-life threatening injuries, Mr. Hopkins said.
