We may have gone a bit overboard with our coverage of Jamie Laval & Ashley Broder throughout the week. We had a large article in fyiWeekend today and shot a lovely video of the duo performing in Studio ’99. They were gracious enough to stick around to record a MUSICcast, completing the multimedia triumvirate. On the MUSICcast, we’ll hear the band talk about living in Asheville, N.C., and what life is like being on the road 90 percent of the time. We’ll also hear a few selections from their first album, “Zephyr in the Confetti Room.”

The show of the weekend takes place tonight at Barking Legs Theater. Bombadil, Chris Volpe & Charles Theodore Zerner and Caveat Emperor are scheduled to perform. This show is an Artfront productions. Tickets are $5. Showtime is 8 p.m.

The ever popular Tea Leaf Green will perform at Rhythm & Brews tonight. They’ll be joined by Cornmeal. Tickets are $15. Showtime is 10 p.m.

Saturday night at JJ’s Bohemia, local indie-rockers Coral Castles will be having their CD release party. Tickets are $5. Showtime is 10 p.m.
